What is the difference between kiln dried and seasoned wood?
The process of kiln drying dries the moisture from the wood, as opposed to seasoning, which can happen over 1 to 2 years, where the wood will naturally release its moisture. The Kiln drying process also kills insects during the process.
Where should I store the kiln-dried firewood?
Customers should store their kiln-dried firewood indoors or outdoors covered. Ideal storage locations include on a rack, in garage or in box.
