Excellent engineering. wowed by the results!
I have BBQed , grilled and smoked for years. I own every type of cooking device.I am pretty close to a master at this….I will tell you. With this woodfire grill there is a learning curve.But by watching others and practicing on your own. This Appliance comes 95% close to a wood or charcoal grill. And that’s in flavor and bark. It blows away any gas grill. The only thing I cook on a gas grill is anything with a high fat content. But with this no more gas grill. Getting propane is a hassle.In my opinion on smaller cuts of meat it over smokes, but you just use less pellets or turn off the unit when you think you have enough smoke . Then restart it without smoke. Also this cooks one third faster than you are used to with a standard bbq…so you have to watch it and dial in your settings. After that its great!With any BBQer if you don’t own a high quality instant read thermometer and temperature chart . You will be hit and miss. You will fail your guests….LOLThis thing is built like a tank. The top is double walled and the unit is kind of heavy. The heating element under the grill plate covers the entire bottom. This defiantly sears the meat and no cold spots.Ok now the kicker…no mess! the pellet hopper leaves almost no ash and when the grate cools, wash it in the sink with hot water, dish soap and a brush….So this is the only thing that is different from a charcoal or gas grill. The meat is a little wetter when cooked. Because the juice does not fall in the fire. So your hamburgers do not have that drier texture.If the engineer’s made the grill grate deeper to lift the meat higher up that MIGHT help….just guessingI highly recommend this for personal or a small group, for fast , flavorful cooking with ease of clean up.

Great smaller electric smoker unit that does a ton!
This smoker grill is fantastic! I wanted something smaller than my husband’s full size electric smoker that I could use and this was perfect. So far, everything I’ve cooked in it (pork ribs and chicken) has been wonderful. The smoke flavor has been great and it cooks very well. It’s a bit of a learning curve to use, but I’m getting there. YouTube and Facebook groups are great for recipes, how-to information and suggestions by other users, so definitely look into those if you need inspiration. Love it so far!

Best Purchase Ever!
Best purchase ever! Easy to set up. Grilled steaks last night and it worked perfect. Excited to cook on it again tonight. It’s just the 2 of us but could easily accommodate food for a family of 4. Would be easy to load up and take on a trip as well as long as you have electricity

I am very impressed with my purchase of the Ninja woodfire xl grill! This thing is a beast! It has several different functions like smoking, grilling, baking, air frying, baking, dehydrating to name a few. The smoke feature can be used on every setting which is awesome! Lightweight so you can travel with it. Easy to clean and easy to use. Makes great tasting food in a fraction of the time. The only thing I don’t like is that the temperature probes are way off so I use my own wireless probes. This thing cooks fast so you definitely need a quality probe to make sure you don’t over cook your meat.

In one camping trip, used the air fry function, smoke function, and grill function. Each was perfection. Really loved the app/thermometer abilities. Three primary drawbacks: 1. Itâs heavy. 2. We used this to replace a Blackstone. Would have loved if this came with a flat griddle option; had to buy an aftermarket one. 3. It is a PAIN to clean. Highly recommend buying a grease cutter spray. Overall, love. 10/10. Highly recommend.
