Fun tool!
Best $20, Iâve spent in a long time! Works great and rechargeable, best for small detail projects and so portable.

Great and very comfortable little device.
Love love love this little device!! Small and fits comfortably in my hand. Lightweight so easy to hold from different angles. Holds its charge nicely. Love the 5 option speeds. And as I did not delve into it before buying – I was happily surprised that it has a light pointed directly at the tip so I do not need to worry about a strong and strategically located/positioned light source. I enjoy it so much that I actually do a good work as the use is easy so I have more patient and attention span for detailed work. Addictive due to its ease of use, small size and little weight in compared to other hand held similar tools.Thinking of purchasing another one – just in case since for me it is a life changing experience compared to previous tools I used and I would not want to get stuck without one for any reason.Did not get oaid for this review.Just very impressed.

Works alright, good for light projects
Edit May, 2025: I’ve used this for a while now and I wanted to come back and share my thoughts. I think whether or not this tool will be good for you depends entirely on what kind of work you’re doing with it. I used the included saw blade the other day to make a few cuts in plastic and it worked great. No smoking, no heat, just a nice clean cut. I got a chance to use the sanding drums and they worked reasonable well too.The main thing is, if you are going to use it periodically, for 10-20 minutes of fine detail work on plastic, wood or soft metal you’re going to love it. The variable speed control is really nice, it’s mostly quiet and the battery lasts long enough for that.If you’re going to use it on harder metals, for significant material removal or continuously for longer than 20 minutes or so between charges, I think this will be the wrong tool.————Mostly it seems to work ok. You can tell it’s a cheap tool but even so it it easy to use and convenient. I’m using it for very light duty, delicate work and for that it’s just about perfect. The battery isn’t super great, didn’t get anywhere near the advertised 200 minutes of use. And that’s with only using it on the second speed setting. After about 20 minutes, while it was still working, I could feel that it was starting to slow down a bit. By around 40 minutes I stopped to charge. If you use it on slow speed you can extend the use time by turning it up a few speeds as it wears down and it will still going the speed it had been when you started on the slowest. The included bits it comes with are basically for show, you should plan on bringing your own if you use it very much at all. The grinding stones chipped and wore unevenly and the “diamond/carbide” abrasive bits never really cut anything and wore down to smooth metal within minutes. The sanding drums might work? I haven’t tried them.Anyway, all that to say, it does work and it is convenient. Just don’t plan on hogging out material with it or using it for the hours at a time that it advertises. For light jobs every now and then I think it’s going to do the trick.

Good for the price
Good for it’s purpose.I bought this to work with plastic models and 3d prints and it’s good for that. low power setting is low enough power it doesn’t “oversand” when removing mold lines or layer lines.I had previously found other drills and name brand rotary tools like Dremel sometimes actually have too much torque for my applications. This on the low setting is really manageable.the set comes with a nice variety of sanders and bits. It’s a decent product for the price point. build quality is relatively solid, nothing overtly janky about the unit itself.I have a few little gripes – the chuck stop/brake that lets you change the bit looks and feels a bit like a control and pressing it with the unit running will, uhm, “tend to induce malfunction” shall we say. So don’t do that. The unit locks on, it’s not press to operate/release to stop. I consider this a feature, not a bug, and the tool is generally low powered enough I don’t find a huge safety fault with it, but it doesn’t make it a little less child safe/idiot proof than it could be if that was a selectable feature or a mandatory one.I think the overall torque level here might mean it’s not a full blown replacement for a much more expensive rotary tool – if you want to cut a lot of metal or wood, you might burn this little dude out pretty fast. but for my purposes, so far, it’s effective, just right power level, and intuitive, with the USB C charging. Comes in a decent little hard case with two little mini-sorters for the bits and sanders

Exactly what I needed â small but mighty!
Iâve been using this HARDELL mini rotary tool for just a week now and Iâm seriously impressed. I wasnât sure what to expect from something this compact, but itâs way more powerful than I thought. The 5 speed settings give me a lot of control, and itâs perfect for all the little projects I do, from sanding and polishing small 3D prints to engraving stuff for gifts.Itâs super easy to use, charges fast with USB, and the battery lasts surprisingly long for how small it is. Plus, it came with a bunch of accessories, which is awesome I havenât even gone through all of them yet.If youâre doing any DIY, hobby work, or just need something portable for fine-detail tasks, this is totally worth it. 10/10 would buy again.

Works as advertised, but my biggest disappointment was for the drilling function. Even at its slowest setting, the rotation is too fast for the drilling starting point. And when trying to drill something very small you need precision which is exactly what you do not get when you go from zero to fast rotation – The drill simply jumps off the item and can be dangerous if you are holding the item in your hand and the drill jumps to one of your fingers. It would be perfect if it had a pressure sensitive trigger/rocker like full-sized drills where as you pull further on the trigger it would gradually increase in speed. This would make it perfect for all uses it is advertised for.

I’ve been wanting a little rotary tool for a while now, and the big-name brand ones were a bit out of my price range for what I was looking for: a cordless rotary tool with some attachments and options for more, to be used mostly for my own hobbies and lightweight crafting. It’s turned out to be SO much nore than just that, and I’m still figuring new things out every day! What I’m most thrilled about is the battery; even when I haven’t fully charged it (and it being a USB-C port is perfect) the battery just lasts and lasts. I’ll be working for several hours with it on anything from low to medium power without needing to plug it in at any point, and I simply have not worn the battery out yet at any time!I’ve purchased quite a few extras to go with this base kit — different grades of abrasive sticks, Dremel polishing oil, a whole lot of different sizes and shapes of wool and other polishing tops — and everything has been completely compatible with other brands, no problems! Just keep an eye on the bit shaft diameter and you’ll be good to go.The little case is cute and I thought I’d have the tool in there, but instead it’s proven far more effective at housing polishing grit, glass abrading bars, the instructions, both little boxes of bits and drill heads… it’s great! At this point it has its own little toolbox to keep current projects contained and vaguely organized, but the rotary tool itself is very rarely there as it’s become a mainstay of my desk.I have some big-load power tools, but I honestly find them far too strong and unwieldy for precision work. I’ll use them if I need holes drilled into 2×4’s, but for removing burrs or excess glue from a model, or carving softer stones (calcite and jasper are so soft, just the wool heads will carve them), polishing copper and silver until they sparkle, or grinding in some texture to make superglue catch better… I’ll go for this tool every time.I might eventually get a stronger one, but for now I keep finding new things I want to do with this! It’s also so lightweight that my hand doesn’t get tired, even after several solid hours of carving. After all, you don’t press hard — the edges of the bits do all the work for you. All you have to do is keep it steady and guide it!I really couldn’t be happier or more satisfied with this purchase. If you’re on the fence or unsure about a more expensive one, this is a great intro tool with a ton of available accessories that make it incredibly versatile!
Great looking product –
An affordable equipment. It can do the job but donât expect a high torque
