The SpitJack SHOT XL is a syringe-style meat injector kit. It comes complete with the injector, four needles of various sizes and gauges, four cleaning brushes, a custom storage and transport case, and a detailed user guide. This injector, modified for the consumer market, is a classic tool built for the serious cook. It has advanced features, such as stainless components, comfort-engineered handles, and adjustable gasket tension, that improve performance and durability and separate it from similar injection devices. The SHOT XL is engineered and designed by SpitJack, a manufacturer of specialty cooking tools since 2006. WILL NOT LEAK: Our new threaded needle hub, barrel nut design, and silicone o-ring, ensure a water-tight fit and prevent common leakage problems. The adjustable plunger gasket tension control eliminates suction issues that can cause unwanted needle drip.
WILL NOT BREAK: Our improved needles are twice the thickness of our competitors and are secured into a commercial-grade hub for a stronger connection to the barrel. The barrel is made from unbreakable and food-grade Tritan (TM) plastic. The injector frame pivot screw is secured with a nylon insert locknut to ensure proper alignment and consistent operation. We are the only injector in this class with these advanced features.
40% LARGER BARREL CAPACITY: With a maximum load of 70 ml (2.5 fl. oz.) this will let you do more injecting and less reloading. Our competitors offer only a 30-50 ml max.
