Only works on bulbs that are completely CLEAN and SMOOTH. If the surface is dirty, you can use a damp rag attached to the EZX to clean the bulb first. Textured design or dirty bulbs may prevent proper suction. It might not function properly with rusted bulb bases.
COMPATIBILITY AND CONVENIENCE: Designed with a high-impact ABS plastic base, this bulb changer features a standard 3/4” diameter ACME Thread holder for attaching a pole. For the best grip, use a standard painter’s pole or any pole with an ACME thread design. For added security, tighten the side screw after securing the twist pole tightly. POLE NOT INCLUDED!
HOW TO USE: Charge the transmitter for 3 hours before using the devide. The red light wont change color, even when fully charged. Press the “A” button to activate suction and “B” to release. Center the suction cup on the bulb, press gently, and twist counter clockwise to remove. Attach the new bulb, twist clockwise until it lights up, then press “B” to release after 10 seconds.

So Worth it!
We have a 17 ft ceiling in our living room, and the typical suction cup bulb removal tools donât work. Last time it got the bulb out only to come off the suction cup and crash to the floor. By contrast, this powered âbulb suckerâ works great! Until you release the vacuum the bulb stays firmly attached to the tool! Yes itâs pricey. So is hiring a handyman or electrician. Not to mention the risk of falling off a tall ladder! It is well made, reliable, and just plain works.

I was skeptical it would work well and leery of the price (seemed high at $90), but I was pleasantly surprised! We have a lot of recessed lights fairly high up, including one that is 15 feet high, and we were able to change bulbs so easily with an extension pole we already had from another bulb changing kit that didn’t work well at all. It’s a great invention and perfect little device that eliminates the danger of getting on a tall ladder. So, worth every penny!

great product — something is wrong with battery and doesn’t keep charge
got this for 5months now — used it twice. The battery seem to drain really fast. I could be leaving it on the charger then unplug it and next time it would be dead so i need to recharge it then use it immediately.A+ for product usability

Great tool if you are not good on ladders
I got this tool to change some of the recessed flood lights in my kitchen. I am an older adult and so getting up on ladders is not a good option for me and electricians and handymen are just not a good option for this task as they are expensive and sometimes less that willing to come out “just to change a light bulb”. .I got the tool in and used one of my new bulbs to “practice” the device before I started using it so that I would gain some confidence in the device and get comfortable with the attachment and detachment operations. Then, I was able to replace both of the bulbs that needed to be replaced in under an hour.I would mention to make sure that your pole is long enough so you don’t have to spend a lot of time with your arms high above your head. I would also remind the user to be PATIENT when using the tool. It does take a bit of concentration to get the new bulb in the socket so that it can be screwed back in. It also takes a little while for the vacumn to release the new bulb so that you can detach the tool.Still, this is the only solution that I have been comfortable using. The vacumn suction is tight and really holds on to the bulb without breaking it and a long painters pole lets the user keep both feet safely on the floor.

Works perfectly! Exactly as I needed
Very well designed and thought out. From the standard pole fitting with thread lock screw, the soft flexible bulb interface, rechargeable, and an on/off remote to release the bulb once installed. Everything worked perfectly. I just changed two recessed flood lights in a 24-foot ceiling in 10 mins! Oh, and it held onto the new rough plastic LED lenses just fine. Yeah, it is a bit pricey, but worth it. I would definitely repurchase.

Doesnât work
Followed the directions and it does its own thing. Turn it on hit the button. Nothing. Hit it 10 more times and it might start vacuuming. Might not. Turning off the vacuum works even worse. Hit B as directed doesnât work. Hitting 100 times doesnât work. Holding it for 10 seconds doesnât work. And when you give up it works. Maybe I bought one that is defective

Game Changer- Buy it!
This device is a real game changer for changing high ceiling lights. I found it to be easy to use and well-designed and manufactured. I would highly recommend this gadget for people who canât get on ladders or who have high ceilings. I read a couple of the one and two star reviews and am glad I ignored them and took a chance on this product. YESâ it does not include the pole but that is clearly stated in the descriptionâ read it. Someone complained that the suction wonât work on a dirty bulbâ DUH. Use the device with a rag to wipe off the dirty bulb first and then watch it work perfectly. I found the product to be well worth the money I spent on it. Iâve tried cheaper ones and they donât work. You get what you pay for! For what it does and the ease with which it does it, this thing is a bargain, in my opinion. Now I donât dread changing light bulbs, nor do I have to hire someone to come in and do it for me. Best of allâ NO MORE LADDERS. Again, highly recommended to everyone who reads this!

This product certainly could use some refinement in the assembly department, because the way mine arrived was not functional in any way shape or form.Because I was relying on this tool for a job I needed to complete, I decided to open it up and see if I could resolve the issues myself. Inside I discovered a poor crimp connection, which once corrected allowed the transmitter to power on, but then the remote did nothing to control the vacuum pump. I used the small button on the receiver to pair the remote to the receiver, and I was successful in getting the unit operational.I hope you’ve read to this part of the review. I know the above sounds like I would be disappointed, but I couldn’t be more impressed with this products performance, it’s an absolute game-changer! I tested the range to make sure I could use it on my 25+’ ceiling, and it was turning the vacuum pump on and off well over 30′.I would buy this again without hesitation.

The first one could only be turned on and off about 2″ away, so I emailed 2ules and they responded quickly and we’re good about the return and I ordered another.This one could be turned on about 2′ away, I really needed this tool for 8 par38 bulbs in pot lights replacement that are very high, I’m 6ft on a 10ft step ladder with a homedepot bulb changer pole fully extended, (the attachments sucked that came with the pole, light falling off and cant unscrew them).This job was over tile and there are lots of large windows all around with alot of breakables in the house so I was a bit stressed about the job.I found that if you remove the cover on the attachment end and pull out the vacuum pump and battery that there is a little circuit board with an antenna in there and if you un coil the antenna it worked from about 20ft away in line of sight, so I drilled a small hole through the plastic cover and pulled the antenna through leaving it straight.After this simple mod it worked really well, I couldn’t have done this job with out this tool and I won’t ever do this job in the future without this tool.This company responds to emails quickly and is great to deal with as well.
