Great for novices and experienced grillers
This cookbook has been used a lot this summer! The first section goes into great detail on how to grill. If you are new to grilling, you will likely find the pictures and thorough explanations helpful. Next, there are tons of recipes with lovely pictures. I appreciate the authors’ creativity in these recipes. I think a lot of times vegans can get stuck in a rut grilling the same few things over and over, but this book has many new and interested recipes. Whether you are a vegan, or just looking to grill some more healthy options, you will enjoy this cookbook!

Overall 5/5 for look of the book, and taste and ease of recipes
I made several recipes from this book in the first week which says two things: 1 – recipes look delicious. 2 – recipes look easy enough to make. The inside is filled with simple yet tasty recipes, each with a glossy, full color pic. It has great tips on grilling, and provides a variety of options. I will add though – not all recipes go on the grill, but do complement a bbq. Only wish is that there was a small section on grilling cheese (halloumi, paneer…), but it’s a vegan book, not vegetarian so that’s fine. Overall 5/5 for taste, look, and ease.

Ultimate Vegan Barbecue
Bought this for my husband — AKA The Grill Master. Fabulous recipes with lots of pictures. The VWG recipes were of special interest to me for adding something traditional looking on the grill next to veggies. I do like store bought mock meats, sure, but they are highly processed often with 30+ ingredients. It’s nice to mix it up with homemade foods that don’t contain all that extra stuff. Some recipes call for different spice combinations (than what I’m accustomed too) and I find that they do indeed work well together. Two thumbs up!

Everything looks so good!
Recipes look to be very do-able & would make even veggie shy kids & die hard meat eaters want to try these. 4 star because itâs completely geared toward outdoor grilling, coals & all. But I will be adapting these recipes for indoor grilling. Iâll be making vegan meats from whole foods & using substitutes for any soy products, but the recipes are straightforward & can easily be adapted if needed. I doubt most people would want to change them- thatâs just me. Thereâs neat little grilling tricks such as using an inverted clay flower pot for a lid if you donât have a lid on your grill. Thereâs also a few bread dough recipes that tell how to bake it on a grill which should make for so e interesting crusty breads that look simple enough to do too. Lots of pictures & very clear instructions on how to grill it all to perfection. One of my new fav cookbooks thatâll get put to a lot if use!.

All the food looks delicious!!!
Bought it as a gift for my dadâs birthday (he is going vegan the day after his birthday). He loves to grill and cook, so this is perfect! I flipped through the pages, the book is very sturdy and feels like it was made with high quality materials. Plus all of the dishes looks AMAZING!!!! It even has a big front section that goes into detail about grilling temperatures, how to clean the grill, what tools to use, etc. Highly recommend!!!!!

A Special Book
This vegan BBQ book is a high quality book. I haven’t tried too terribly many recipes yet, but I can see the artistry in the ingredients and techniques. The BBQ sauce is the best I’ve ever had. The BBQ ribs are quite good too. Tomorrow I am making some eggplant gyros, we’ll see how that goes. This is a great book!

I have not made anything out of this book, but, I want too. Everything looks great. I have my eye on the zucchini steaks. We just picked our garden grown zucchini from the garden, which I will be using for the steaks. Oh and the book has lots of photo’s of food; plus, a section explaining how to BBQ vegies.

Purchased for vegan son’s 50th birthday – – he checked out a number of recipes and was salivating, saying how much he was looking forward to trying these with his vegan family.

Iâve been drooling over these recipes and anxiously awaiting the day the snow melts enough that I can awake my charcoal bbq from her winter slumber. The authors prefer the charcoal bbqâs, and for good reasons too.
