This cleaver stand is made from teak and has a 2mm wide knife slot which makes it perfect for vegetable cleavers and any other thin blade cleavers with a straigth blade. The teak 2mm variation is 8.25”L x 2”W x 1.75”H, with a blade slot that is 1.25” deep and approximately 2mm wide. It is perfect for displaying your straight-blade cleaver on the counter for easy access when needed. Other stands are either hard acrylic, which will chip your blade, or they are too short. Our stand is solid wood and long enough to protect your blade. Since this is a natural wood product, there will be color variations. This product comes with a stand only. The knife in the picture is for demonstration purposes only and does not come included with the stand. Works best with flat rather than curved blades.
DIMENSIONS: block is 8.25”L x 2”W x 1.75”H. Blade slot is 1.25” deep and approximately 2mm wide. If you have a thick meat cleaver, please measure it to make sure it will fit in the 2mm slot or purchase our 4mm wide variation.
SOLID WOOD: our solid wood design will not chip your blade and protects your knife better than hard acrylic designs. The teak version is slightly lighter in color than the acacia wood variation.
STRAIGHT-EDGED CLEAVERS: works well with most straight-edged cleavers, including Chinese cleavers, meat cleavers, vegetable cleavers, and Japanese cleavers.
RUBBER FEET: we placed four rubber feet on the bottom to keep your stand elevated on the kitchen counter so dirt and grim will not build up underneath.
EASY ACCESS: our cleaver stand storage block is designed to make your straight-edged blade cleaver easily accessible on your kitchen counter – no fumbling through your drawers or chip blades.
POINTS TO CONSIDER: this knife block does not work well with curved-blade knives, and since this is a natural wood product, there will be color variations.

WHY WE CREATED THIS PRODUCT: Before designing a new product, we always ask what benefit it will have for customers. Usually, this is a result of a pain point we have felt in our lives and have not been able to find an existing acceptable solution. We created this product after having trouble finding a solution for keeping our carbon steel vegetable cleaver easily accessible while also protecting the blade from chips and rust.
